Joe and I purchased our 140 acre farm in 1999 and planted fifteen acres of diverse varietals of grapes. We have continued to plant a few acres per year since our first family harvest in 2003. Some of the varieties of grapes that we have are Seyval Blanc, Vignoles, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cayuga, St. Croix, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zinfandel.
We opened our winery to the public on the 24th of September 2004. From this moment on the vineyard and winery has become a place that people have visited to get away from their stresses. Sometimes visitors like to sit back and enjoy a glass of wine by our double sided fireplace or outside on our patios to take in the spectacular setting sun. Sometimes three or four generations of families will sit at a table by the window and play Monopoly while sharing cheese and crackers. Sometimes friends will sit together on our dock and watch the fish swim beneath their feet. Sometimes a person will come in by themselves and sit at a corner table to read a book, but while they are there they often strike up a conversation with a complete stranger and when they leave they leave knowing they made a new friend and wonderful memories. No matter what each visitor comes to the winery for they leave with a lighter step and the chance to dream their own impossible dreams.
Thank you for visiting this site please feel free to click on the links at the top of the page to learn more about the vineyard. Please remember when you stop by the vineyard to let your worries fade away and let the blissful atmosphere make you feel young at heart.
